Plus there’s this conversation…
did this. . .
now it’s much more dark and ominous ![]()
. . . why does putting a smiley after that make it THAT much creepier?
at what point should i stop procrastinating on the background/foreground and start working on the characters?
yeah for real
also thank you ![]()
so ummmm. . .
I was messing around with my painting (read: procrastinating), and i did this and it looks really kinda creepy or something so i saved a copy
ummmmm. . .
just, like, ignore me
@Badkat Don’t forget to post your entry in the official monthly challenge topic. The link is in the first post of this thread.
Also,
No voting has taken place. The voting poll will be published after the submission deadline passes so remember to come back and vote for your favourite ones.
yes, that’s a floating torch, no, it won’t be floating in the final painting
i haven’t added the glowyness to it. . . by that i mean the light coming from it? it’s supposed to shine down the stairs and reflect off the walls a bit, but i won’t add that until i get the characters drawn
also how do i motivate myself to draw the characters and stop procrastinating on the background/foreground? i just find myself demotivated at the thought of drawing them. . .
That looks like a cool OC. Are you going to make a scene for it and then submit it to this month’s challenge?
Now it’s at this link: Sketchbook of Engrenageurs
I thought the art challenge included more than sketches of scenes.
Read the brief. I bet you can come up with something awesome.
I considered making a scene of a card game between the Land Acquisition Architect and the Chief Operating Officer Ottoman, two characters from Toontown: Corporate Clash.
But given my personal circumstances, I would need a laptop computer for that, most likely.
Even then, I would have the scene in my first-and-so-far-only sketchbook, at the least.
A little filling in today. Had to use the perspective assistant tool to get the positioning and eye level right. At least I hope it looks right. ![]()
Working on the meadow -grass section…
…and it’s turning out muddy!
And I’m not a fan of the colour pallet either.
!!!
As usual I’m adding too much detail.
I’ve got to break this darn, bad habit!!![]()
Naturally, cats rule!
That’s another winner!![]()
Hmm… have you done the background all on Krita, including the manikins, or were they imported from another program?
I do like your concept!![]()
I think its looking great!
I do all my 3D bases on blender, then import the image over.
I’d like to learn Blender one day.
If you 're making something for the challenge, Blender can’t be used, though.
if you want to learn Blender, a good starting point is the BlenderGuru donut tutorial on YouTube
that’s how i learned ![]()
