Monthly Art Challenge – December 2023 – Paint the Krita-Artists Logo!

Here’s mine!

When someone says December, I’m sure a lot of us think of Christmas. The challenge was fun! Everybody has such great ideas, wonder where from, haha!

Looks a lot like an illustration from a children’s story book. Well done.

Well, someone brought the sausages so let me bring the cheese! :yum:
I don’t know how well-known the fables of La Fontaine are to those who weren’t lucky enough to have a French education ( ), but in the French-speaking parts of the world it’s a pretty big thing, because learning by heart one of the fables is part of the primary school program – at least it was in my time. Generally it’s Le Corbeau et le Renard (The Raven and the Fox)… Meanwhile, the original font of the Krita-Artists logo made me see the K as a raven head with an open beak and the A as a piece of cheese, so I emphasized that, and added Kiki as a silver fox with multicolored tail. :slightly_smiling_face:

(What? Kiki is a squirrel, not a fox? Meh! Never mind, it’s almost the same… They both have a big fluffy tail so no one will tell the difference!)

(What??? Why does the site automatically convert my PNG into a JPG? I wanted my transparent background! :sob:)

It’s “too big” for the forum settings so is converted to .jpg to save storage space.
