Ah yes… I also had to learn that fable. Once learned, never forgotten
But the “fox” is supposed to eat the cheese, why is Kiki looking at the raven so hungrily? Is it a plot twist?
It can’t be the reason: my PNG file was only 585 Ko and in previous challenges I’ve seen entries bigger than that in JPG (up to 604 Ko).
She’s looking at the raven while he’s dropping the cheese!
(OK, in truth I shortened Kiki’s body from my original sketch but forgot to change the eyes. I don’t find it shocking though).
Nah, your drawing looks really great!
And if she can get the raven, the cheese is a bonus! ![]()
My entry: Less is more.
It is a simple drawing based on the three primary colors, which come from the two letters and the brush, to form the secondary colors. I have also added black and white to the drawing (not color/sum of colors). The message: with Krita and a brush (mouse), infinite colors and shapes. That’s my official version.
Now the true version
: I am a total newbie, I’ve been with Krita for a week. It is a drawing that all of you would do in 5 minutes but it has taken me many-many hours to do it, searching on Youtube for everything I wanted to do, trying, failing, going crazy to do something and I have only managed to make simple shapes, fill in them and splash colors. But taking part and seeing your work of arts is a fountain of inspiration to keep on learning.
Welcome, first of all, to the Forum and to Krita in general! So glad to see more and more artists using this awesome program to express their creativity! Growing and learning is what we all do! I love to see how each of us filters everything we experience and reimagines it in fresh and exciting ways!
Nicely done , ive been pnly on krita for a week also, and I also did a heap of youtube searching , what would we do without youtube ![]()
Search through menu’s and manual’s, use our brains, think and find out for ourselves?
