I believe that Thomas Cole made a painting about “Civilization engulfed by nature” already. It was entitled “Desolation.”

Starting off this month with a bit of ink work…

I have a feeling that there will be zombies lurking in (or outside) the corners of all the entries this month!

Maybe I’ll add one for you… kind of a where’s Waldo’s zombie. :scream:

Here’s part of what I’m working on: The Ice Is Coming! . But I like yours better @steve.improvthis!

And working on another concept because I lost my inspiration. :upside_down_face:

Haaahaha! :joy: You’re kidding, right? :face_with_spiral_eyes: I can’t find it. Did you put it inside a building? Too bad I left my X-ray vision in my other glasses… :winking_face_with_tongue:

I have to say, your illustration is amazing as a whole :+1:, but if you zoom in, the lines are a lot looser than Martin Handford’s work, so it’s hard to distinguish what could be a body in there…

If you were serious though, I hope you’ll publish a solution in the WIP section, highlighting your zombie when the challenge is over!

He’s there and in plain sight… and yes, it is not easy to see him. It may be a bit blury, but once you see him, he will stick out.
Maybe someone else will find him this month. If not I’ll post a solution when the voting starts. Remind me if I forget?
Hint: It’s a zombie Waldo, so he’s not wearing red.
You’ll need to zoom in, unless you have amazing vision!

I’ve got some ideas for this month’s cool topic… but Christmas orders for pet portraits are starting to pour in. I’ll fit it in somewhere!

Hey everyone! Here’s what I have so far. Hopefully will be able to finish it by the deadline. I’m terrible at deadlines! Also, I really love the perspective assistant tool in Krita. This is my first time using them, and I’m very impressed!

I finally found zombie Waldo!

Found him too. You really need to download the image to zoom in enough, then it’s quite easy indeed!

Just started to sketch out an idea for this month. I always loved the huge old clock tower on top of the ancient courthouse in my hometown, so seeing what I can come up with around it.
