Monthly Art Challenge – November 2023 – Solarpunk
My first entry, titled Growing Up painting

“The idea behind this image”
with the rapid advancement of science, scientists are able to mimic the way plants create, manage and utilize renewable energy so that it can be applied directly to the buildings of the future.
if you look at the timelapse, you can see that I tested a few things and ended up not using them in the final result.
My second entry, Green Energy vector

“the story behind it”
It’s been a long time since I drew a vector on krita, and I tried to draw small parts of this illustration and posted it here Vector drawing in krita - #11 by Iruhas and many interesting things happened .
My big motivation and inspiration for this illustration came from https://www.youtube.com/user/Kurzgesagt , I really love their art style.
Back to my illustration story earlier, actually this is just a short illustration that illustrates how earthlings in the future maximize renewable energy sources in a small environment. Whether it comes from water, wind, sunlight, organic waste, and so on
My Third entry, Local Solarpunk landscape

“behind the scenes”
I made this picture using only RGBA brushes, I think I still need a lot of practice to master it.
First, I imagined the beginning of the solarpunk era (starting from today), then I tried to depict a person who enjoys his hobby of programming robots near a solar power plant on a sunny morning. And to reach that place, the woman uses her electric vehicle which can also be recharged by the solar panel.
This artwork is inspired by a place where a floating solar power plant is being built over a large dam, Cirata Dam - Wikipedia
I hereby fulfill the maximum capacity of challenge entries for November 2023.
Yay…
