It can not be nominated, it is a featured picture that currently has not been put on the featured row and misses the tag right now, but it made the second place in last month’s Art Challenge and @steve.improvthis has not withdrawn to be put on the featured row.

But it was second place in the challenge voting, so it doesn’t seem like the odds are good here. :man_shrugging:

@Michelist I’m a bit confused. I don’t understand what you said about why it couldn’t be officially nominated.

I don’t think my picture is a featured picture, nor is it on the featured row. Maybe… did you mix me up with Elixiah? (Her winning piece is currently on the featured row.) :thinking:

Is one of the rules that an image can’t participate in both the Monthly Challenge and Monthly Favorite? That would make sense to me.

It’s okay but The photo will not be included among the featured works; It was posted as a regular photo after the competition ended.

I don’t see any problem with that, and it seems that second place is not being taken into consideration at all.

@steve.improvthis, I’m not infallible, and I was truly convinced that the next four finishers would also be rewarded with a spot in the Featured Row, but I was wrong. So I apologize to you and @Rhea_Asma for the confusion - it wasn’t my intention to cause such a chaos.

Here I guess you haven’t noticed that I had added the word “second”, simply because I was convinced not only the winner gets honored.

No, but an already featured picture can’t be voted for to be featured a second time, at least if I’m not mistaken here (too). That was the reason for my above posting where I was convinced that the pictures 2, 3, 4, 5 are featured too.
