Photoshop-esque soft round brush?

I’m sure this question has been asked before, but is there any way to replicate the look of the soft round brush in Photoshop? I have been trying to get that exact look to no avail so far by changing the brush settings on the default airbrush (either too hard or too gaussian no matter what I do). Is there any bundle or specific brush with certain brush settings that can really give the same look? It was my favourite brush for the short time I used Photoshop back in the day.

I was able to make something very similar in Krita just now:

Not pictures: Flow is enabled, linearly controlled by pressure.
Adding opacity control makes it feel even softer, which may help.
