Is there any clue that the paintbrush slows down?
I later tested the fps and found that it was only half of the original (25fps)
I thought that was already solved. That frame drop is usually weak computer or a slow OS the reason.
Did you use the performance option āReleaseā or used a proper value for the ācheck_timerā?
I did not change anything on the code because no change was made to justify reverting back. on my side it has been performing alot faster and not slower.
It is indeed better than the previous version: the previous version will slow down when entering krita, but the current version will not.
But it will still slow down. I thought it was due to time or āReleaseā, but it wasnāt.
The problem now lies in the docker of pigment.o, once I do any operation on docker, it will slow downā¦ (select a color, open the settings page, or even just click on the blank space!) until i restart krita.Everything is normal as long as you donāt open docker

Turn off the advanced colour selector to use pigmento. Or turn off pigmento to use the advanced colour selector. I have the on off switch so you can adjust that quickly for pigmento. The idea is pigmento has everything so you donāt miss out by choosing it. With the smal colour selector it is even worse.
Also having pigmento docked speeds it up greatly for some unknown reason.
Advanced colour selector is laggy and lags pigmento with it, since its speed I donāt know why seems fake.
And I think an error was made in like version 4.5 that made it even slower than pigmento. Which should be impossible since CPP is faster than Python. But that is totally my impression.
No, the reason is not that they exist at the same time. I use pigment.o on August 20th without this problem. However, the current version has a slow problem when turning off the advanced colour selector. (I opened it only because more dockers can be placed horizontally)

I can see your on Krita 5.
It is hard to fix these issues when I can never see them happen. To me it was performing faster than before but since August untill now has been just the same.

Pretty much the same. When painting it looks like switching from "Brush Smoothing" to "Stabilizer" and setting a delay of 15px
I was taking a look at code from version 2021_06_30 and considering your lagging periodically it would be the Krita_2_Pigment function but the barrier measure to not do a full cycle update is identical for both. without this approval on the start you canāt do anything else in the code while inside the canvas. I donāt know what is the cause of the issue.
By the way if you have Tela active by any chance deactivate it as that yes is giving issues in Krita 4.4.6 and above.

But the crash log is useless to me, I donāt even know how to read it properly, what I would need is the python error message that pops up when everything stops so I may know what is causing the issue.
For little I can try to guess it did not even got that far to load scripts? I will reupdate all files again but it is the most I can do for now.

Hello, Iām new to Krita and Iām not an artist and donāt really plan on drawing either. I was looking for a color mixing software that mixes using the RYB color model and this looks to be the only thing close to what I need. The problem is, I donāt know how to use the RYB color mixing in the Pigment.o plugin. Could you please help me out and give me a quick tutorial on how to use the mixing part? Iāve looking for days now for a mixing software that can mix colors just like in real life and after a long time, I stumbled across this. Please help me 
I am sorry to be a spoil sport but RYB for mixing will not do ārealistic life like mixingā your seeking.
If you read this thread you will understand it more Hardmode - Manually Mix Colors This because when you mix paints there is alot more going on than just RYB or CMYK.
Either way how to mix RYB in Pigmento:
- press the triangle for the settings dialog
- activate āMIXERā to show the mixer sliders
- change to Mixer = RYB to swap into the RYB mixer
- Select a color 1 > Ctrl+LMB on one of the boxes
- Select color 2 > Ctrl+LMB on the box of the other side.
- Click on the slider in the middle to adjust the amount from one to the other
After your done just ALT+LMB to clean because it will not forget the colors until you clean.

Thanks for the info. I more or less meant that every, and I mean every mixing software (including Kritaās default one), uses additive color mixing. This can be seen when mixing blue and yellow, which will result in grey. Iām essentially looking for a subtracting color mixing software that can mix blue and yellow to make green.
After testing the mixer for a while, it seems to do subtractive color mixing but it darkens the end result. If you mixed red and yellow together, it will result in a brown color rather than orange. I guess Iāll have to keep looking. Thanks for the help though

I have thought about that already but had no time to do it yet. I have to redo it whole as it is it works minimalist and does not accept any of the new features like accurate display for it either. Regardless I am working on Tela now when I can.
