Since I have some troubles with Pigment.O, that may or may not relate to my own setup (not sure about this one), I decided to write here instead of Github.
While I love the plugin (although I do wish there was more color mixer modes; I might see if I can fork it and add them on my own mayhaps) and it’s been real handy, sometimes I’ve noticed it… freaks out a bit. It’s hard to explain. When I hover over the default box picker, sometimes the color randomly changes value, moves all over the place, changes hue, and sometimes even if I pick a specific color (eg. pure RGB red) it just zoinks towards black with every hover. Not instantly does it move to black, it just moves towards it with every hover. Like I said, I’m having trouble puttng it into english words.
Outside of that, it’s still my beloved little baby and I periodically have been checking the thread even before I made an account, to see what updates you’ve made!
Do a click with your right mouse button RMB in the inner circle, this will open a context menu where you can select the shape that will be shown there.
Add/Edit: At least theoretically, HCY won’t show it on my side. @EyeOdin which conditions have to be met for showing the square in the color circle when in HCY mode, triangle and the also four cornered diamond work?
Add/Edit 2: Funny. In principle, the square is actually there, colors can be selected in it, you can “feel” its shape by moving the mouse from the inside to one of the edges while holding down the mouse button and then following the edge to trace the shape of the square. But you can’t see it because it is displayed transparently.
This one has become my favorite color wheel by orders of magnitude! The hexagon color selector in ARD mode fixes the problem with a lot of saturation color wheels where changing the temperature shifts the value and viceversa! Also I kinda like the visual cue of the shape of the color wheel chaining as I shift values; It makes it easier to work with hotkeys.
Ah never mind probably another bot account… No wonder the generic wording of the problem.
I should collect these accounts like Pokémon.
I live in someone’s head for sure. That or they made a bot just for me, if that is the case thank you. Better than fans you can always count on your haters. Makes me even feel .. validated
