before you say anything, yes i am aware of the current plugins for placing and editing 3d models within krita. however, the blender layer plugin is broken as of the 6.0 update, and all other 3d model related plugins are for the purpose of texture and normal editing, which is not what i’m looking for.
i’m an artist who’s currently locked into CSP for its 3d model features, which help streamline my workflow drastically. don’t get me wrong, i absolutely LOVE CSP, but getting it to run properly on linux takes a bit of work, and not everyone is willing to do that. i’m not sure when or if celsys will release a native linux version (or if they’ll at least just let register licenses on waydroid), but until then i’d also like to have a door open for a linux-native program that fits my workflow.
i’d be ecstatic if native support for this was implemented, though i’m welcome to try out any actively maintained plugins that fit this use case.
