I’m not sure there’s much anyone can really do about it, especially when not from China but if you speak Chinese I don’t see any problem why you shouldn’t go ahead and make things clear. I think everyone can do this, if the site offers a way. Krita isn’t an AI software and telling this to people is just stating facts. Krita doesn’t become an AI software just because someone made an AI plug-in for it, just like my car doesn’t become a truck just because it tows a trailer.

There’s nothing Krita can do about it. It’s an open source software and can’t really control what people use it for. It couldn’t even prevent people from creating AI plugins even if it wanted to. It’s sad, but that’s how it is. Free software means free for everyone, not just for some.

In fact, you don’t have to worry that Krita will have a close connection with AI, because very few people use Krita in China.
