For ‘standard objects’, you can use vector layers and Vector Libraries.
There are people on this forum make make free vector libraries of objects, e.g:

and sometimes paid for:

You can also make your own vector libraries for use in krita.
I really can’t say. If your freehand skills are not to your liking then it’s up to you if you want to work on improving them.
Freehand sketching will give exactly the result you want whereas vector libraries have fixed images that are not easily changed.
