Hi Thomas, they are coming sometime this year, likely mid or end of summer! Had some good progress with them, but exams are now stealing all of my time 
Sorry about that, I wish I had more free time to make them.
Though, it is possible to follow the progress here

and would there be alcohol markers type of bruses, like what adodesk sketchbook has?
Sorry for the very late answer, have been very busy lately! 
Now it’s many years since I used Autodesk Sketchbook - but here is a picture of those of my WIP brushes that I think might look similar to alcohol markers?

The progress so far!
I am finally starting to see the finish line 
Only things I have left is to convert the pixel art brushes and make icons for them, clean up some pencils, convert the “magical” brushes, make thumbnails for a few WIP brushes, tagging, polishing, making the trailer, renaming some assets, making the bundles and uploading it all
When it’s all done, I think version 2.1, 2.2 and so on will take a lot shorter as most of the groundwork has been laid

Tried them out recently, the inking one and smudge brushes are my fav’s, got to love rainbow brush though

Haha I too like the rainbow brush! It’s surprising how much it can be used for, I like to smudge it on a layer on top where I think my piece needs more variation, and then smudge it to get some subtle hues.

Oh wow I love these icons!! I have used your brushes before and I still use your ink brush, so I can’t wait to try out these new brushes!! I love making brushes as well so I know the process can be long and tedious so I appreciate the dedication to making them look awesome!!
Are these brushes only for Krita 5 or will they be available for the current version of Krita?

This pack works in Krita 4 & 5 as far as I know. It is made initially in Krita 4-Times, and even when I actually know none, could it be that there are glitches under Krita 5, if that should be the case, then please report them here. Don’t forget to tell which Presets fail and in which way they fail to get support if such things happen.

The new “unreleased” ones with the new icons are for 5 and has bugs in 4, but like Michelist says; the current ones work in 4 and probably 5 It’s harder to find and download the new “unreleased ones”, they are only on my GitHub and might be buggy. Thank you for your interest, I am very happy to hear that you like the ink brush and is looking forward to the new one
