Realtime impasto effects using layers! 🖌

If you use Windows, then you can open it with Explorer. Then select the three files in the archive, and you can copy & paste these files to any folder you like.

Hi,
I am using windows 11. I cannot find windows explorer, Is there a software I can download.
Thanks
Sydney

On your keyboard press Win-key + E and the Explorer should open, unless Microsoft has removed Explorer from Windows 11, what they didn’t do.
Normally, Explorer has always been located in the Start menu in the “Windows System” subfolder. Cortana and Windows Search should also show you the way to Explorer when you ask for “Explorer”.

With Windows 10, I just do right-click → Extract on the .zip file to extract/unpack it into a folder. I’d be surprised if it was different on Windows 11.

If you are still interested in a good packing program, then I would choose 7ZIP, it can unpack a wide variety of formats, and as a packer it is also excellent, there is little software that achieves these compression rates. It is easy to use, but it is not self-explanatory.

https://www.7-zip.org/

And then Universal Extractor 2 (UniExtract2), an unpacker that can probably decompress the largest number of pack formats ever, it can be called directly from the context menu and is comfortable because it does almost everything on its own. It can also be used to unpack many setup programs, gaming archives, multimedia files and more.

Wow, I, as a Total Commander user and old Explorer hater, didn’t know that yet. So, that Explorer now offers this by itself in the context menu, I believed this entry in the Explorer context menu came from one of the packers installed on my system.

Hi,
I am sorry Michelist, for whatever reason it does not work on my computer. Maybe it is me! We gave it the old college try. Thanks for your help.

@Sydney Have you seen this also?

Hi, Crazy (that’s weird)
There was one nice member gave me instructions two different ways. Both do not work, it is probably me, it happens, that I do not grasp stuff. That is what opens I am familiar with that. I downloaded a file, from a member, he said to use Explorer to open the file, it was a .rar file. That is the “Explorer”, I was looking for. No luck. I am sure there is a software to open a .rar file. If my memory is right (ha ha)…I think it is called WinRar.

Yup,WinRar can do it and, I believe, so can 7 zip.

From this page: https://www.howtogeek.com/73904/beginner-how-to-extract-.rar-files-on-windows-7-and-mac-os-x/

“If you want to extract the files, you can do it without even opening 7-Zip. Right-click any RAR file, point to the “7-Zip” menu, and then select one of the “Extract” options, depending on where you want to extract the files.”

Explorer can’t open RAR-Archives, only ZIP (and ISO through mounting as virtual drive).

7zip opens rar files too

Is this about the impasto templates provided by @Mythmaker in the dropbox link at the start of this topic?
If so, that is a .zip file.
