"Relief" FX from IbisPaint

Hello everyone,
I recently found out about this feature on Ibis under their FX setting, to which it generates a basic “3d” lighting effect onto any solid block of color you apply onto the canvas.
I was wondering, is this somehow possible in krita, plugin or not?
I did fidget around with G’MIC to find something similar, and i have, but it doesn’t work quite as well and as automatic as Relief

for reference, this is what I’m talking about:

built-in settings could create some variety.

I think its really cool. It has great potential to make retro-gaming like style effects. I’d really love for it to be on krita as I dont really use Ibis, in fact i used the trial PC version to post the pics.

This could or even should(?) be possible via ‘‘Layer Styles’’, select a layer in the ‘‘Layers Docker’’ press F3 on the keyboard or the RMB on your mouse and select ‘‘Layer Styles’’, and in that dialog you have to play with the settings. The only issue may be the light-source, I think that will not be so easy as in your example.

Unfortunately, you could really only create something vaguely similar with the emboss Layer Style, I just wish there was a feature similar to Relief.
