hmmm, this was a surprise, a mindless doodle session practicing sphere turn into a portrait, it looks so familiar but i can’t remember.
i have always wanted to paint a rose ever since i started becoming more serious dec last year. it always turn out cartoony. Reading tips here and clicking on to other artists recommendation of resources here, and some great feedback on
don;t be afraid to use bold colors
try painting loosely
i am really glad that another doodle of square and sphere (this time with comparison with the eclipse tools at krita), bloom into a ok-ish rose ![]()
i also finally find out that krita keeps total editing time under document information, not too bad for 16 minutes practice
Great color range. Makes them feel alive.
What brush(s) are you using to make them?
