@novames00 I pushed some changes to the screentone generator. Try it in the next nightly build and let me know how it goes.
I think it improves the pattern generation at smaller sizes but I have to say it is not exactly the same as csp still, and I doubt it can be without using handmade templates. At least that is my impression right now.

So, I tested the new update and it indeed displays better dots at smaller scale.
We already have an improved halftone filter that is more suitable to manga making thanks to the pixel alignment feature. It’s great. Now, in 2022, maybe you can play more with the halftone filter, to see if you can further improve the consistency in an efficient manner. Thank you again for this update.
