Scrubbing Audio Issues, blasting peaking noise during scrubbing

Howdy ~

While scrubbing audio in Krita, the audio suddenly blasts my ears for two seconds and peaks the volume before returning to normal during playback. It’s not bad while scrubbing slowly, but if I go too fast it’s volume is incredibly harsh and max volume.

Anyone else got this issue? Anyone got workarounds?

Audio is known to not work properly for some users, I would guess your issue is also the part of the long-standing audio system bug.
Currently developers are working on fixing the audio system issue.

It need some time to get properly developed and merge to future stable version, might not happen very soon.
