It would be nice if Krita has shapes in perspective features. Creating a good ellipse in perspective is frustrating and takes a lot of time, even with a perspective ellipse it takes a lot of time, if we have this feature means it will take less time. Plz, do watch this video link.

@animatorPun_v: How often do you want to replicate the feature request? That this is contra productive, even for your wish to get it as soon as possible, because votes would be split and seem less if one looks at the amounts of votes cast, doesnât come to your mind, or did it? â
Only because you need a feature doesnât make it the most important thing in the world of Krita. There are hundreds of feature requests waiting for realization, and everyone would like to see its own request realized. That is normal, but to beg constantly doesnât help to get anything faster.
@AhabGreybeard; @sooz; @raghukamath, I think these are essentially the same and could be merged therefore, may you take a look at these?

@animatorPun_v Repeatedly creating the same Feature Request topic (or, as some people do, bumping it to the front page) does not improve the likelihood of the feature request being implemented. It only serves to annoy people.
sorry I did not know about that, I thought my request was not getting votes maybe it was outdated. Thatâs why I created one more request.
Moreover, we simply cannot keep track of all the feature requests made in the forum. There are about 500 open wishes in the bug tracker, 700 open bugs, a constant stream of feature requests, many of them in the form of âplease implement feature X from app Yâ, and itâs not manageable anymore. And apart from that, as developers, we have our own agenda as well.
The only way to improve this is to have more people start working on Krita. Weâre not nasty people, and merge requests usually get handled quite quickly. Mind, if we mark them Needs Changes, we donât see them anymore until we get mail that the changes have been made.
For more information about feature requests, see: Developing Features â Krita Manual 5.0.0 documentation
k I understand thanks for the info. can we modify or create a tool by our self, is it open source?
Yes, Krita is Open Source!
A look in the manual would reveal it:
As well as a look on the homepage:
Even the Repo, that you may need to develop your desired feature, states it:
BTW, things you may need, perhaps youâll need the Krita Scripting School too:
https://scripting.krita.org/lessons/introduction
And the Plugin ââPython Plugin Developer Toolsââ, made by @KnowZero, you may need also:
In Krita, under ââHelpââ â ââAbout Kritaââ in the tab ââLicenseââ, is stated that Krita stands under ââGNU General Public Licenseââ Version 3 (or any later Version), there you can learn about the rights youâre granted, also the license itself can be found there. The term Open Source isnât used there, but the license says everything.
Something like some initiative would certainly be useful, but then you would already know that Krita is Open SourceâŚ

thanks for the info, and sorry for my behavior. I am new to Krita, I thought it was only for the official developers to access to develop it. I am interested to add a new feature to Krita, just learned Python, so i want to try my Python skill on Krita. I will do some research and learn how to add features to Krita. Thank you for sending the links and giving the info. I will be learning how to add features.
Itâs okay, you donât know me, and you wonât have known that I like to poke people a little bit to reach them. And be completely honest with yourself, you will remember that in the future, and probably wonât do it again, wonât you? ![]()
That not everyone processes this equally well is something I am aware of. So, itâs okay.
You know, this forum is a special place. A place where all users are officially required by the forum rules to look out for each other, for example, to make sure that the rules are followed, to make sure that there is no redundancy, to make sure that we treat each other well, to make sure that trolls and spammers are shown the door as quickly as possible, all these things ultimately make this place the lovely peaceful place that it is.
Thatâs why users who regularly participate in the forum are granted additional rights or privileges thanks to the Discourse forum softwareâs reward system.
Here you can find Discourseâs trust levels:
They are also briefly explained in the FAQ of the forum, that I recommend to every new user:
Regular users have shown that they care for the forum, so Discourse allows them to move topics, change topic headlines and topic tags, posts flagged by us are immediately hidden for lower ranking users - all such things. Currently, there are only 20 regular users, like me for example, although anyone can become one, including you.
And thatâs why I had pointed out to you, albeit with my own touch, the fact that repeatedly posting the same content here is not helpful (and definitely undesirable).
So the forum rules do not exist to restrict or annoy us, they exist to help a large group of diverse users from all over the world, with different socialization, worldview and values, to get along well with each other, and thereby keep the forum attractive to all.
Thatâs why I tried to explain that split feature requests would also split the votes, which is detrimental to a possible successful consideration of the request. You are shooting yourself in the foot with this.
Just as a topic, discussed in X places in the forum, does not contribute to clarity, and makes it more difficult to follow that topic. These are also reasons for which people decide whether they want to become a participating member of this forum instead of a visitor reading along.
