Shapes in perspective like infinite painter

It’s okay, you don’t know me, and you won’t have known that I like to poke people a little bit to reach them. And be completely honest with yourself, you will remember that in the future, and probably won’t do it again, won’t you?
That not everyone processes this equally well is something I am aware of. So, it’s okay.

You know, this forum is a special place. A place where all users are officially required by the forum rules to look out for each other, for example, to make sure that the rules are followed, to make sure that there is no redundancy, to make sure that we treat each other well, to make sure that trolls and spammers are shown the door as quickly as possible, all these things ultimately make this place the lovely peaceful place that it is.

That’s why users who regularly participate in the forum are granted additional rights or privileges thanks to the Discourse forum software’s reward system.

Here you can find Discourse’s trust levels:

They are also briefly explained in the FAQ of the forum, that I recommend to every new user:

Regular users have shown that they care for the forum, so Discourse allows them to move topics, change topic headlines and topic tags, posts flagged by us are immediately hidden for lower ranking users - all such things. Currently, there are only 20 regular users, like me for example, although anyone can become one, including you.

And that’s why I had pointed out to you, albeit with my own touch, the fact that repeatedly posting the same content here is not helpful (and definitely undesirable).

So the forum rules do not exist to restrict or annoy us, they exist to help a large group of diverse users from all over the world, with different socialization, worldview and values, to get along well with each other, and thereby keep the forum attractive to all.
That’s why I tried to explain that split feature requests would also split the votes, which is detrimental to a possible successful consideration of the request. You are shooting yourself in the foot with this.
Just as a topic, discussed in X places in the forum, does not contribute to clarity, and makes it more difficult to follow that topic. These are also reasons for which people decide whether they want to become a participating member of this forum instead of a visitor reading along.
