Thanks!

The colours and brushwork are amazing! It looks, at the borders, like an overlay with a mostly clear brush that gives texture like a varnish - can I ask what brush that is?

Do u have any tips on achieving this style of painting. i have currently been working on a realistic painting of an anime character but the shading always ends up looking plastic and artificial. Is there any specific brush should i try? Your input is much appreciated.

I use standard RGB oil painting brushes from Krita. As for this style, I just take a few oil paintings as a basis and try to convey the atmosphere and technique of execution. I can advise you to use only a standard round brush for a certain period, because it is thanks to it that we learn to draw, and all these textures are just the cherry on the cake, of course, it complements the cake, but it is still secondary.
