Where do you define the colors or the gradient for the index painting?
Thanks for asking, I actually forgot to explain that
The layer depends you had depends on your settings in options (I initially made the index colors one, but then I noticed that the gradient map was more handy IMHO)

@Suzuka Interesting plugin! I was into pixel-art (demoscene) in the past.
If I were you, I would made a video-tutorial on how to use the plugin in practise…
its sad that can’t have it
It is not out of sale.
So in principle anyone can have it, but sometimes the offer can only be purchased via a payment service that you don’t have access to, like it is for me when someone accepts credit cards only.

Yeah, the video-tutorial is an awesome idea! Is in my “todo” list, but I find it hard to find time for it (probably because is not a task that “excites me” (despite is a very important one)). But I have to, and probably will

First of all , thank for this lovely plugin!! and i cannot wait to use it.
But sadly i have some trouble cause i imported the plugin to my krita, and even after restarting multiple times, i cannot see the SZK pixel art option in dockers. 
. i would love to have this prolem solved!
Thats a very good idea friend! I’ll try to make a manual in the next days. Despite I tried my best to fully document it in the UI I know that I may overlooked some things.

Hello! Sorry to hear that friend! As @Michelist said, have you activated the plugin in the Krita settings?
If you already did, can you place the cursor over the plugin to see if there is any error notification?
I had one user that couldn’t activate the plugin but it was because they were using an old Krita version. (Is because I’m using some Python features that were not available in old Python versions).
