The Lone Rider-2

Here’s a painting I finished working today. This piece has more realistic shapes in it but I have kept most of the objects abstract.

I like a lot of things about this piece. The perspective is really cool, how the clouds spread from the center, and the rise of the landscape in the center. And the colors. I love lots of color and saturation. I think you should do more landscapes like this!

Thank you Elixiah. I enjoyed working on the textures a lot.

I do not have a fixed style as of now. I like experimenting and learning new stuff. This piece leans more towards realistic and abtract side maybe because I was bored. It was relaxing painting it after working on so many stylized art.

I really like it too! In fact - I’ve had it as my desktop wallpaper for a few days! :yum:

I think it’s actually my favourite piece from the past month and was on my shortlist for nominating. I probably would have chosen it if you hadn’t already been nominated (with that other piece I had shortlisted last month!).

The only thing that’s bothering me is it seems to be quite heavily compressed with a lot of visible jpeg artifacts.

Oh. I’m flattered that you like my art so much :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m sorry if you encounter jpeg artifacts. It’s because of the Glaze that I apply before sharing my art in public.

If you’re not familiar with Glaze, it is a form of digital layer of protection from the AI generators. Glaze adds a layer of code on top of the artwork that, when fed into the AI image genrators will give unexpected and unusable results.

You can find the all the details here: WebGlaze - What is WebGlaze

Here’s a snippet of what Glaze does to the artwork.

I did know about glaze, but I haven’t used it myself. I’m surprised by the results though - I thought it was supposed to be virtually invisible to the viewer.

I don’t blame you for using it though!

Thank you
These brushes contain custom brushes that I created and some brushes that I collected from the Krita brush resources and customized according to my needs.
