Thickened lines

Hello is it possible to do this in Krita? Make lines thicker & thinner in Photoshop - a quick fix for line art - YouTube

basically a drawn lineart, already drawned, that can be thickened or thinned without being redone from the start. is it possible and if so, how can i do it because i tried so many ways and used google with youtube and searched for a very long time but it just cant work

Hello and welcome to the forum

Krita doesn’t have that particular filter/function but there are ways to do it.

There is this topic:

That gives two possibilities:

Selecting the lineart then growing/shrinking the selection and painting over it.
Or adding a Layer Style of Stroke then adjusting the thickness of the stroke.

If the linart is black on white with no acute corners, you can blur it then use Filter → Adjust → Threshold to increase or decrease the thickness.
That gives pixellated edges so a 1px blur afterwards may give an improved appearance.

thank you so much for the help

I like gimps grow shrink tool as it doesn’t blur like the krita growbrush
