Bucket tool options only showing two settings. theres many missing options. The dockers and tool options are already on. help how to fix this
That’s very odd. Can you try closing Krita and restarting? I might also restart the device if it were me.
Let us know if that didn’t help, in which case we need more info from you (are you on Windows, Android, macOS for starters).
Im using windows 10. help theres so many missing options like fast mode, threshold etc.

In the meantime, I don’t really think this will work, but may as well try. Go into the Window menu and then Workspace. Select a different workspace.

I found an older post (different version of Krita) but here is one suggestion that was made.
Rename this file (while Krita is not running) kritadisplayrc
Then restart Krita.
(Location of kritarc file: c users yourname AppData Local)

It seems correct to me, with “What to fill” as “Current selection”. When it’s set to “Contiguous region” there should be more options, which are related to obtaining the region.

rename? what name should i rename to kritadisplayrc? i as well tried delete it and restart kitra but doesnt work
Just to be clear, Krita was closed and you deleted or renamed the kritadisplayrc file. When you restarted Krita, there was no change. Is that right?
EDIT: I should have asked you this before but is this a brand new Krita installation or have you been using 5.1.5 for a while and it was functioning well previously?
The other file in the thread I linked suggested to rename or delete is krita5.xmlgui
yes i tried it while kitra is closed there is still no change. yes its the latest version, the first solution i tried is uninstall and downloading it again from the site. um where is krita5.xmlgui located?

It could be hidden. In your file manager, there should be a place to specify you want to see all hidden files.

That’s where it is for my Windows installation.

That file is strange and I don’t know where it may or may not be and I don’t have it in my Windows 10 -/Roaming/krita folder.
I have a krita4.xmlgui file in an old archived krita folder but no krita5.xmlgui file in my currently used krita folder or anywhere in -AppData.

The Tool Options docker contents, as shown initially, is correct for What to fill: Current selection
If it was What to fill: Contiguous region ... then more options would be shown:
