I tested Krita to make vintage comic book-like effects, by combining Krita’s power with Inkscape vector art features, as I couldn’t find anything related to that niche art making topic, only paid addons for Photoshop. I wanted to see if it was possible to do such in Krita and yeah, it’s entirely possible!
I used G’MIC filters to roughen up the artwork, along with the Newspaper Krita plugin made by Grum999 for the halftones, (found here Newspaper plugin for halftoning), the rest was done manually by me.
