Wacom Art Pen rotation not detected on Windows

I invested in a Wacom Art Pen so that I could take advantage of the rotation feature. I got it working in Corel Painter, but not in Krita.

Environment:

• Krita 5.2.9
• Windows 10
• Wacom Intuos Pro Medium PTH-651
• Wacom Art Pen

Steps taken:

1. Verify that WinTab is selected in Krita Configuration
2. Verify that Windows Ink is turned off in Wacom pen configuration
3. Restart Krita.
4. Configure a brush so that the rotation of the brush is controlled by the rotation of the input pen.

Could you show us the brush preset where you have rotation set up?

Do you mean barrel rotation or pen direction (tilt direction in Krita)?

Barrel rotation should work on Windows (while it doesn’t on Linux sadly)

Never mind. I was using the wrong pen.

I got the right pen and barrel rotation is now working correctly.
