Watercolor, recoloring with Pesi's trick. Can we go further? Sure!

Hi i think we have already a lot of brushes for watercolor, isn’t it? cool! But watercolor is really related with paper and i want to give the credit to @Pesi for the trick with Satin on FX style combined with another Grain texture and my paper for Digital Atelier “DA pastel_honeycomb paper”. Is another level of watercolor believe me.

I continued testing and the connection has been stablished. @Pesi set for watercolor is really good also. And i have created 3 custom brushes to adjust to my taste. But the paper trick…man this is what i call a game changer. :ok_hand: Thanks.

I have tested the trick with portrait, landscape, machines, abstraction… so what are you waiting to use it ?

Maybe after the next video that is about impressionism, i will propose this. A timelapse explaining everything in real time. What do you think?

Super! Great job!

Simple test to show how cool is this. We can create an smart canvas like we already have and play a lot with the combinations adding the @Pesi trick

I appreciate this is a 3+ yr old thread, but am feeling so appreciative of the great info and demonstrations to achieve these watercolor results.

I’ve been diving into the way that “local selections masks” can be used to simulate applying color in a specific “pre-watered” selection area in the physical world. Will do some more research and if I cannot find on-point resources will make time to construct the info and share.

Greatly appreciate this super community. :vulcan_salute:
