What are some good brushes to make fire and flames?

I think I downloaded the majority of the bundles on this site but I reckon I basically only have… one fire brush.

While I experiment with what I have, is there any reccomendation?

Sorry, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity of this assist for an off-topic post:
:fire::fire::fire:
Usually it’s the brushes made of wood, preferably with strong handles and abundant remnants of oil and acrylic paints in the bristles…
And don’t forget to take a lot of them!
:wink: :rofl: :fire:

The liquify tool can come in handy too. Or the mesh transform tool. As well as play a bit of the wave filter Maybe gmic has stuff too.
Using Fill brush on a transparent mask layer too can be good

I used some of the concept illustration bundke

I like the thin long ones that changes depending on the angle
Some of it is technique when moving cursor. And maybe having the brush rotate a certain way when moving.
As well as go back over a stroke using a brush as an eraser and removing parts.

Look for smoke brushes too. Like the smoke you would see from a cigarette sitting in n ash tray
