Where to get plug-ins/brushes?

Hello and welcome to the forum

The only ‘star’ brush presets that I know are ‘Speedpaint Light Starfield’ and ‘Texture Starfield’ which are in the default/standard installation. I’m sure there will be others in brush bundles that have been made by other people.

For nebulas I go to Google Images and find some of the many wonderful astronomy photos by NASA. They give blanket permission for use of their photos for limited personal and non-commercial use.

Plug-ins tend to be technical things covering a wide range of functions so what sort of plug-ins are you looking for? If you do a search for “plug” on this forum, you’ll find many topics where people have created plug-ins and made them available for download. These have been reviewed by forum members so you can be sure they work but they are for use at your own risk since there may be unknown flaws in them.

As for ‘brushes’, these are provided as bundles for importing and there are very many of them available.

And aw, I haven’t tried making the sketching-to-shading brush work for non-tilt, the other ones can be converted to work ok, but that one just turns into a normal pencil without tilt support Would indeed be nice to make it work somehow! There are others that you can find on the forum here or in places like Deviantart and by google searches.
If you’re not familiar with using krita, the importing and use of ‘brush packs’ or bundles may cause some confusion so just create a topic on the forum if you have difficulty with any of it.
