I have downloaded krita on my surface pro 7, ready to do everything … but I do not know where to start… Do i start from a line, a circle? please help

You can start with any tool you like. Krita has a variety of tools to create various effects and do various jobs.
I suggest that you start by selecting the Freehand Brush Tool and use it to paint in the canvas.
Hello, sorry if this is not the right spot for the question since i kinda confused where to write. and my question is, i accidentally deleted the "default "setting here on the workspace setting. can someone help me bring it back. its the one on the top right where you can choose animation , big paint etc. can’t seem to find the default again.
You should start a new topic with the ‘+New Topic’ icon which is near the top right of the main page.
You now need to go to the resources folder C:\Users\(your username)\AppData\Roaming\krita and in there will be a file called ‘kis_workspaces.blacklist’.
Delete that file and restart krita. That will restore any and all deleted workspaces.
