A few days ago Krita updated in Steam. I thought it was a bugfix or something. But once oppened it shows version 5.2.0.
There is no announcement or a patch notes. What am i missing?

That’s interesting. I had heard it might be coming out next week but nothing concrete.

If you look on Jenkins, you will see that the version has already been “built”. I suspect there is still internal testing going on with this version before releasing it to the public. But Steam might have put this version online without asking “since it’s available”, possibly Steam was informed that Krita hosts the new versions (Release) and the nightlies (Plus & Next) there and overshot the mark here. As I said, it’s conjecture.
By the way, the other Versions, Linux, macOS, Android are build already, too.
