Each month, around the 15th, we’ll post a nominations thread. Krita-Artists members can make up to five submissions in each monthly thread. This nominations thread will be open for submissions until 2025-11-11T18:00:00Z.
Everyone is welcome to vote when the poll is published. The five images receiving the most votes will be inducted into the featured artwork row. Winning images will also be entered into the Best of Krita-Artists – 2025 competition at the end of the year.
Best of Krita-Artists – 2025
In January 2026, we will publish a post containing all the winning entries from the previous year. K-A member voting will determine the top ten and these finalists will be awarded a “Best of Krita-Artists – 2025” badge. In case you missed it, here are the results from last years’ winning entries: Best of K-A 2024

Submitting Repair Yard by @Yaroslavus_Artem. I admire the way we’re given extreme detail and yet the image is still able to convey the massive scale of the ship.
There are several good works in the Sketchbook topic 20250101 of our user @yuheng_zhang deserving a nomination, but the one I want to nominate is the picture of a rose which @yuheng_zhang named “一枝花上色” which roughly translates to “A Single Flower in Bloom” or alternatively to “A flower blooms” (if my translator was right ). For those interested in a part of the process of making it, the grayscale version of this gem is found in the post above the rose.
Another work that must be nominated is “Black Cat 20251110” by @z586t! It is a stroke of genius to depict this cat so impressively on canvas with just a few strokes!
Cure Precious birthday fanart! from @Mallowcream is the next work worth to be shown to a wider audience, so I’m presenting to you this dream of colors and cuteness as the next nomination:
Another work that deserves to be nominated is @800000000W’s highly complex pixel art animation Melon Soda city.
Tip: You should view it in large format by right-clicking on the image and selecting “Open image in new tab,” which will allow you to view it enlarged.
