Brush recommendations for painting, not line-art

hi everyone!! artists, who make drawings without line-art, сan you recommend the brushes you use? thank you in advance! :]

Please use descriptive headlines and choose the correct categories in the future! “Helppp” is not a headline we want to see here, as you could have read up in our rules.
Thank you.

Just play with the brushes available, plus, you can download many more from the resources category. There are previews and samples within the resources posts, so you can get an idea of what can be done with them.
As for myself, I like the Memileo Impasto brushes lately (by @emilmMemileo Impasto Brushes
I also like the ink bundle made by @RamonM

Are you trying to create edges based on mass on mass technique? I tend to use the standard brush presets from Krita… just as insanely large sizes to do exactly that. The Memileo are decent but slow me down with their ‘specifics’ and end up using the standard brushes after. I do really like to use the sponge brush in the largest size possible for treating the ground…

A few months ago I downloaded David Revoy’s bundle: Krita brushes 2025-01 bundle - David Revoy
And I’m using “d) Block Brush Glazing” for everything. It’s the first one in the “Glazing” category on the second picture, and there is a video showcasing most of the brushes and how to use them, if you want to check out other ones, too.
