Could we customize comic panels in the comic templates?

the comic templates you currently have aren’t customizable and they come with strict comic panels you cant move. I like the feature they have and the way their set up but I’d prefer if I could customize the panels to fit my pages as each comic page typically has its own composition of panels.

Hello @Creative_Trash and welcome to the forum

With File -> Create Template From Image, you can create your own template .kra file and have it available along with all the default installation templates.

If you ask for advice and information in a Support and Advice topic initially, you’ll find that krita has many facilities that you may not be aware of.

yeah I know that. but the issue is customizing it in the program. as I said each comic page looks different. and the issue is whats built into the template itself. in the template its set up so you don’t color outside of the panels. if I make my own template I can’t replicate that feature. that is the feature I want.

Then I misunderstood. Sorry about that.

That’s useful information and someone else may know about that.

thank you for the input. sorry if I wasn’t clear enough if I initial request.

You may want to know about these two topics, because there is “something on the way”

Yes you can, for example by using transparency masks or alpha inheritance, or by making the outsides solid colored vector objects that lie on top of everything.
