Help replicating CSP Snowneko pen

Hello! I’ve trying out Krita lately and I love how the painting brushes feel, but I can’t find a brush that replicates my favorite sketching and lining pen from Clip Studio Paint. Krita’s brush system is a bit overwhelming for me, so I would love help replicating the pen!

Cheap Ballpoint pen Brush

I made this single brush preset that I use for casual sketching. This supposed to imitate the look and feel of cheap ballpoint pen that I commonly use. This brush uses multiply blending. Using this brush on a transparent layer may result in a thin white outline. Use in a flat layer or in layer with ‘darken’ blending to remove the outline. [Testpen] [testpen2]

Here you go, maybe not an exact replica due to the differences in the brush engines, but the setup images went a long way to give me an idea of how it works.

Neko - Pen

[Example Neko - pen] (Based on ボールペン snowneko印 ) This brush uses the speed function, it is recommended to set the speed between 25 - 20 px/ms (also this depends on the size and type of tablet). Settings Ink Neko - Pen PS: From now on I will be packaging the brushes to avoid the problem of them downloading as pngs.

You’re welcome, it’s complicated to faithfully recreate a brush, I don’t use clip studio anymore but I remember quite well how the settings work, so I’d have to check the brush thoroughly, but it’s pretty good to start with I think.
