Hello @Rivki_Zohar and welcome to the forum
Hi everyone,
My name is Rachel Lea,
I am a junior software developer. Very excited to join the krita community and start contributing.
Hello everyone,
I’ve been programming for 16 years, but in any case, this is the first open source community I’ve joined,
So I’m excited to meet you and work together for a better product!
Hello @rachelyayn and @rachelea777 and welcome to the forum
There are many areas where a software developer, no matter how ‘junior’, could help with the development process, so thank you
Hello everyone!! I’m Maayan, software engineer. I’m excited to join the open-source community and contribute to this field that I’m deeply passionate about.

Hello @Yael_Elisha, and welcome to the forum!
I’m happy to have you here. And I’m not as astonished as @Erisian, because I noticed @chanailani’s topic a few days ago.
@Erisian: No fear, they are real, and if you had noticed the following topic, you could have remembered it, and that fits very well in combination with all our new users.

My apologies to all. I had forgotten about that post.
Hi all newcomers,
Exciting to see so many software engineers wanting to contribute! On top of what michelist provided I wanted to give some helpful links if you hadn’t found them already.
For building krita you can check the documentation for your respective OS. Special note: If you see a step to download dependencies from the binary factory that won’t work right now since that got removed recently (like yesterday I think). It should have instructions to build dependencies as an alternative.
To find something to work on you can checkout the bugzilla (hard to sift through) or the develop category here. Or just using krita and finding something you want to change
Feel free to ask questions here or in the IRC if you have questions. Good luck with your coding!
@TehilaEtinger Welcome! Wishing you all kinds of good luck.
Welcome, @Yael_Elisha!
Hello everyone!
I am excited to come and be a part of you in putting together the amazing Krita application.
I am sure that I will benefit myself and the world with my contribution here!
Good luck to everyone!
Hi everyone!
