when I wanted to make a topic about my WIP images, I remembered that I had made a topic about this before. Because I didn’t want to make something I made messy and unorganized so I decided to keep uploading it in this topic.
And before I knew it, it was almost a year since I didn’t upload any WIP in this topic. What have I been doing all this time?

By the way, this is a dragon drawing that I’m making as my regular drawing exercise. Of course I didn’t use any reference, just relying on my memory. Because of my habit, I usually only look at references when entering the coloring process, so that I can be more imaginative about how my drawing will turn out.
Here I am experimenting with a bold lineart style that I am not used to. How will it turn out? Just wait, I will upload the results in the Dragon Cage topic later.
after moving to Linux Mint I tried a new atmosphere and I think the krita bright theme is not bad.

In the future I will try again to make fanart of anime characters, it’s a fun process, repeating and applying the theories in drawing anime characters that I have learned.
There are too many waifu characters this season, this year, this decade, and my eyes are not satisfied just watching them, I want to draw them!

It’s good to see you back! - I had noticed you weren’t around. 
Hmm… I don’t know how you can work with that layout though - it looks very cramped. My canvas space takes priority, so I keep my dockers as compact as I can.

I often try new brushes and brushes that are rarely used, because the position of the brush is easy for me to reach so I leave it like that.

after moving to linux it feels like something is missing, and I just realized from looking at my previous wip screenshots that I haven’t installed the plugin that I used to use, Timer watch docker.
With this I can set every few pauses to do exercise so that my back and eyes do not hurt. Usually to do indoor exercise or calisthenics for 3-5 minutes

Many of your drawings look like they would make great adult coloring pages. Have you ever thought of putting them together in a coloring book?

As someone who likes to draw and only shares the results on social media and forums, I never thought about it. As for my work being sold as a product or whatever, I haven’t thought or focused on that.
Even so, I still dream that I can make a living from my drawings.

In linux mint I like to experiment with working in windows that have their opacity lowered. It’s instantly a different experience especially if the wallpaper is set as a slide show.

WIP for XP-Pen Creative gift design challenge

I started drawing with a question in mind, what kind of gift design do I want?
While thinking about it, I started to draw on my Xp-pen star 03 express keys pentablet that I bought in 2019.
Fun fact: I’ve never changed the nib since I first started using it, and then I thought: am I not drawing enough?

The same applies to my Huion Inspiroy (NEW) H1060P. I used the original nib until last year when I could no longer paint. Since then, I only take it out occasionally to test whether I can guide the stylus again, but I no longer have control over the fine motor skills required.
