So far, so good! I just took a peek at all the AMAZING pieces everyone is WIPing up! SO COOL! Got a lot to do yet, and it’s a busy month!

Well… I was looking closely at several paintings of Kiki, and she seems to be half organic, half robotic too. So I thought I’d carry on that theme.

Does anyone know the meaning of the little colored cubes depicted in several of Kiki’s past designs?

i think youre referring to these cubes? i believe theyre supposed to be splotches of colour, like the ones on a mixing palette for painters, for example in the second image theyre floating over a palette shes holding.

i think Tyson Tan wanted to stylize them to make them look more “futuristic” since shes a cyber squirrel

I think those are colours on palette transformed in to pixels.

Oh, It looks very nice so far. The horse kind of reminds me of Pegasus from Hercules.

I loved seeing all the WIP, so many creative and fun ideas. Can’t wait to see how they look once they’re done! Anyway here’s my take on the prompt featuring Kiki as a witch, her magic stylus, and her worrywart companion, Oswald the horse broomstick.

OK, I’ve never drawn tech before. I usually avoid it, but I’m being brave and decided to go for a mechanical horse. First rough idea sketch. I hope it will improve as I start adding details!

That’s beautiful colors for sure! The background and the horse are great but I feel like you’ve been particularly bold with Kiki’s colors, it’s definitely not her usual range of shades!

Latest WIP. The horse is a mess - I’m so bad at tech. And those eyes look a bit creepy. I won’t leave it like this… and there will be a background, the blue is just so I can see the light colours better.

I finally started coloring in the line art. Though, I’m still not sure what to the background color should be. Any ideas, I was leaning toward dark blue?
