My patterns

These are some of the forty-eight free patterns included in the pack, which can be downloaded here.

ATTENTION: The patterns in this package have been discontinued as of 01/23/2023, as they are too small in size and have low resolution. Use them only for work intended for the internet. For more details, see this post.

Instructions for use:

  1. The files are all with the pat extension, ready to be used in Krita, Gimp, Photoshop or any other program that supports this format;

  2. After unzipping the folder, you must place it in the “patterns” folder, according to the program:

• Krita ==> C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\krita\patterns

• Gimp ==> C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.x\patterns

For more details, see this video, at 12:14.

  1. As for usage, the same video shows examples in both Krita and Gimp. If possible, use “round” numbers to reduce (75%, 50%, 25%) or enlarge (125%, 150%, 200%) patterns. This usually gives good results. If, however, you have problems, please provide feedback.

Thank you, @Guerreiro64. I loaded them into Krita. They’re nice! Thank you, too, for the video with English subtitles. That was helpful.

Nice! I chose these because they resemble those manga screentones. :slight_smile:
