This is where members nominate artwork for the monthly poll.
Krita-Artists members can make up to five submissions in each monthly nominations thread.
This nominations thread will be open for submissions until 2026-08-11T18:00:00Z.
The five images receiving the most votes will be inducted into the featured artwork row. Winning images will also be automatically entered into the Best of Krita-Artists 2026 competition at the end of the year.
What is Best of Krita-Artists – 2026?
In January 2027, we will publish a poll containing all the winning entries from the previous year. K-A member voting will determine the top ten and these finalists will be awarded a “Best of Krita-Artists – 2026” badge.
In case you missed it, here are the results from last years’ winning entries: Best of K-A 2025

Troubleshooting
If the image does not appear, it’s usually due to:
a) the markdown characters are missing
b) the markdown line containing the image link is not on a line all by itself
c) your browser may have inserted backslash characters into the markdown code. Delete the extra characters to make the image appear. This is a backslash: \
Nomination Guidelines
Forum members may make up to five nominations per month.
You may not nominate your own work.
All artwork published in the Artwork:Finished Artwork category is eligible. The only exception is artwork that has already been featured (look for the “featured” tag next to the post title).
The featured artwork nomination process is brought to you by Krita-Artists’ Admins and Moderators. We welcome feedback and suggestions. To submit feedback, please click here and add your thoughts.
I’m sorry, @ameteur_dude , only artwork from the finished artwork category are eligible. The one you nominated is in works in progress. Full guidelines are in the post at the top of this thread. But thank you for taking the initiative!
I’d like to nominate this amazing artist @asknarin for their incredible piece, great details, and beautiful color tones. The rendering is exceptionally clean, and the lighting is absolutely flawless
I nominate @digbi for his work Fragment 010 (Game), part of a whole “Fragment” series. It is a great display of technical skill, as well as a highly usual concept. Reminded me a bit of Dalí’s melting clocks…
My second nomination is “The Vibrant Tree” by @artractive. It makes great use of the RGBA Wet brushes and has a gorgeous colour scheme, without looking too artificial.
I also want you to have a look at “The Golden Angel” by @Kannabi.
Her amazing rendition of a fiery angel with hell-ish traits captures your attention with great use of light and an excellent colour palette. Beautiful anatomy and some symbolism included.
A bit more subtle in tone, but worth your attention as well is “Betrayer of the Sun” by our new member @Fangfully. It plays with the contrast of light and dark, with holiness and dark powers, with calmness and imminent danger. It seems that the art fight contest brings out the best efforts in many of our members.
