Another clunky way is one of the Krita-Blender plugins, since I don’t use Blender, I guess it was Blender Layer - Live 3d View in Krita, but it could also be one of these two: Blender Krita Link: plugin for texture editing in Krita or Krita Blender Workflow Bridge Plugin, make the transition between Krita and Blender easier, it helps to paint on a puppet if I understood it correctly.
