technique requires duplicating the hairs you drew and use the soak ink brushes on top. then duplicating that and using height to normal filter (consider setting -x,-y,-z). then using color to alpha to keep only the ‘‘bumps’’ you want. you can also play with color dodge and levels and then set layer to bumpmap. sometimes if you want bright bumps using edge dection instead and setting layer to dodge works too.
Also sharpen filters are used on nearly all layers (use as desired)
