Cool to see you here Benjamin , I’m also on Cara , Artstation , Bluesky and Artfol 
First off: fantastic! I love the shapes, the brushwork, the contrast. I’ve messed with the Memileo brushes a little, but haven’t been able to come anywhere near this level of awesome.
I have kind of a specific, mundane question for you: how did you approach the canvas background texture for this painting? I’ve struggled a bit with that in Krita (and actually started a thread about it a while ago).
Yours looks natural, not overwhelming at all. I also notice that it’s not uniform over the whole image. Just curious about your thoughts and process. (I’ve noticed a similar thing in many of your other images, as well.)
Also: sorry/not-sorry for bumping up this beautiful image again almost a year later

I usually add a layer (with a canvas or paper texture) on the top the final painting in Overlay mode.
There is a more advanced pipeline where you will mix different effects on the final painting:
1 - copy 3 times your final painting
2 - copy 1 add a unsharp sharp effect (opacity mode)
2 - copy 2 add Chromatic aberrations effect with G’MIC plugin pack (opacity mode)
3 - copy 3 add edge detection>Height to normal map effect then desaturate (Ctrl+Shift+U) on Overlay Mode
Finaly play with the opacity percentage of this 3 layer to have a nice painting effect.
