Another question that I have is about doodle brushes.
I saw the csp ink brush which I used but had some troubles with and the nacho brush which did the same because of pen pressure.
May anyone recommend me some doodle brushes to play with!
And can someone help me on how blending works with skin and other things related, I’ve been wanting to start painting like pros do but I need a bit of a start…and some help…
Hi @Kenjisamadesuu - What is a doodle brush? Can you supply a screenshot?
Regarding blending and skin, I suggest you search on YouTube for Krita videos. There are lots. You might find someone with a style you admire that you can learn from.
And open the brush presets docker in Krita, put the word blend in the bottom search bar. You’ll see what kind of blenders you have already loaded.
Actually, any brushes that you have can be used in sketching. If you want a brush only for sketches, then you can try any brush with a clear texture or effects, they will usually be more aesthetically pleasing
I have attached examples of my own so that you understand what I mean if I did not express myself correctly.
It can be that your browser changes the file name extension to PNG while downloading them, then you have to revert this and must rename the extension back to KPP before you can import them via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Manage Resources…’’ >> ‘‘Import Resources’’.
This renaming happens, because Krita brushes are literally PNG-files with additional information describing the brush parameters, and some browsers want “to support” their users, thinking they’ll do us a favor renaming them for us.
The first is not a doodle brush, it is more for inking, it requires quick strokes for some parts, in the same way both brushes are out of date, I have improved them but I am creating a couple more before launching a bundle.
