Hello! new user here. I’ve been using krita for about a week now and I’m hooked! Before krita, I used GIMP and Inkscape. But never really catch it and continues with paper and canvas. So, I’m relatively super new also to digital painting.
so my question: is there a way to place shortcut on keyboard to rotate angle faster, like for example shift+swipe on tablet(shortcut for ±brush size) ? I’ve been searching on the shorrtcut config but couldn’t find it.
and is there a way to place a shortcut to keyboard on brushes?
I get distracted a lot if I press right click if i want to rotate the brush angle. rotating the canvas makes me dizzy

I’m really sorry, but I think what I mean by rotate angle is rotating the angle of the brush with shortcut.
so, I found it by accident. doing with shift+pen swipe left-right= increase/decrease brush size.
Is there a way to rotate brush angle with that kind of shortcut combination?

Not that I know of and I suspect not. I think there have been people who’ve requested that and other ‘quick’ brush parameter change controls before. Someone who knows more about that may come along soon and give advice.
With the brush editor (press F5), you can change the fixed rotation setting of the brushtip and you can also set it to be controlled by various control inputs such as pressure and drawing angle etc.
That all takes time to learn and may be useful for you.
There is not shortcut fro the brush properties like angle yet. However in the right click popup palete there is a way to access desired properties I know this is not the same as shortcut but it is what we have now until the shortcuts get implemented.
The “Compact Brush Toggler”-Plugin from @kaichi1342 has the ability to switch the rotation, which is then controlled by pressure, on and off. If you assign a pressure curve to the brushes you use, you will be able to control the rotation through pen-pressure, a task that can be finicky, and you can enable or disable it with a click of a button, and maybe you can assign a shortcut to this toggle.
If this is enough for you or fulfills your needs, I can not say, I don’t use this option, my fine coordination does not allow me to control it.

I’m nearly sure that there is a plugin, that is able to alter the brush-rotation in steps of 10 degrees, but can not find it, unfortunately.
It can only toggle rotation pressure on and off.
OTH there is a similar request to this in the CBT thread.
Edit: I was investigating the possibility of adding it earlier today.
If you have a pen tablet that supports tilt or rotation, you could also opt to use the tilt angle/ direction sensors. But that would require you to modify brushes themselves. Just FYI.
