As @Grum999 already mentioned it, yes you can draw, sketch and animate with Krita, and there are users that create the most beautiful works using Krita*.
A tablet is an input device, like a mouse, a touchpad, a trackball for instance, your version is an input device which also has a display, if I am not mistaken. But you should be able to handle most programs with it. If it makes sense to operate a certain software via a tablet is a different question, most programs are designed for mouse or touchpad use, but a program like Krita, that is mainly made for painting, sketching, animating can be used very comfortable with a graphics tablet and a stylus, but most users additionally use their mouse or keyboard for some tasks, but also special input-controllers are not seldom used beside a keyboard or mouse, here I presented a few:
Audio software, like DAW’s can also be handled with a graphics tablet, especially with pen displays this may be advantageous (but one should use the largest models available for comfortable use), but I never tested this and used my mouse and keyboard to handle my DAW and all the plugins (instruments and compressor, phaser, reverb, etc.) I use with it.
So, you can handle most of the tasks with an XP-Pen 22R Artist Pro, but if it is always the better solution is questionable.
