Ink Pen (CSP-like)

I can answer your question but I recommend that you make a new post since this is about the brush that I made, I do not see it relevant to cover other issues that, although related, are not directly linked to the topic.

Nope, this is not a post to ask to make brushes.

Hey! Love your ink pen! I was hoping to use it for some manga drawings, but the texture seems to mess with the smoothness of the lines. I tried tweaking the settings but no luck. can you post the other brushes? would be awesome!

Hi @klausmuller66, do you have InkP bundle yet? It contains a lot of great inking brushes, with several that have a smooth line. Maybe you can find something suitable there:

Yes, that’s what I want, but unfortunately I haven’t had much free time.
Like @YRH I recommend the Inkp brush set which is very good.

Also this year I want to launch all the brushes I’ve created

 Hello @doko and welcome to the forum!

You have to rename the downloaded file d)_Ink_Pen_Texturized.kpp, that Google erroneously renamed to d)_Ink_Pen_Texturized.png, back to d)_Ink_Pen_Texturized.kpp, to be able to import it into Krita via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Manage Resources
’’ >> ‘‘Import Resources’’.

This is by agreement and stipulation in the forum rules, an English language website and every user is explicitly encouraged, if posting in their native language, which is absolutely fine, to add an English translation to their posts.

This is a practice that has worked very well in the forum, as it makes it possible to get a more likely accurate translation of a possibly unclear, inaccurate or unfortunate translation with the help of the original text and other translators.

This is nothing unusual here, but above all you make it easier for all of us to communicate with each other so that nobody can’t translate your native language texts due to a lack of language skills or computer skills and would be excluded.

You, who write here in your mother tongue, were finally able to register here and successfully go through the registration process written in English because you wanted to. Then you will also be able to attach translations to us.

Good translation tools are being offered by more and more providers. Currently the most accurate translator is DeepL.com, after a free registration you can translate texts up to 5000 characters long at once, without registration still 1500 characters. At the bottom of the DeepL.com website (the lower section) you will find applications for Windows and Apple PCs, for Android, ChromeOS and iOS, as well as browser extensions for the most popular browser families, which also offer this range of services, and everything is free.

Furthermore, there are:

Baidu (for Chinesisch - Englisch),

Bing Translate,

Google Translate,

Prompt,

Reverso,

Yandex Translate,

and other services, so you have plenty of choice, please use them if you find English so difficult that you prefer to use your native language.

I pre-write almost all my longer texts and then translate them, mostly by hand but with the help of dictionaries, and occasionally I even use a full text translator, especially when I’m tired, sick, in a hurry or pressed for time. There’s no shame in that, and you can do it too.

 OlĂĄ @doko e bem-vindo ao fĂłrum!

VocĂȘ precisa renomear o arquivo baixado d)_Ink_Pen_Texturized.kpp, que o Google erroneamente renomeou para d)_Ink_Pen_Texturized.png, de volta para d)_Ink_Pen_Texturized.kpp, para poder importĂĄ-lo para o Krita por meio de ‘‘ConfiguraçÔes’’ >> ‘‘Gerenciar recursos
’’ >> ‘‘Importar recursos’’.

If anyone is downloading a png file for some reason:

d)_Ink_Pen_Texturized.png

I switched from Firefox to Chrome for my Google Drive install and got the correct download:

d)_Ink_Pen_Texturized.kpp

Much thanks to the artist for the resource <3, been moving everything from CSP after the subscription fiasco.

Hi Michelist, could you please update the link in your post?, so that others can use the new link, as apparently many people are still using the old link.

Thanks in advance

how do i install this brush

First unzip it, the brush is saved in a ZIP-container, then install it via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Manage Resources
’’ click on ‘‘Import Resources’’, select it in your file manager and click ok, then Krita imports it.
If you don’t know how to unzip a file, ask your preferred search engine.

I’ve imported the brush, made sure it’s a KPP file. But for the life of me I can’t find it in my brush directory

 Hello @Art3Onyx, and welcome to the forum!

It looks like this, and it imports fine for me:

You said, you made sure the file is an KPP-File, did you rename the ZIP-File or did you unpack it and used the KPP-File inside the unzipped archive?
