Hi @Artybyme, At the moment, @wolthera is doing lots of work for improving and extending the text capabilities and I believe that curved text is one of those additions that will be available one day.

Hey everyone, The text layout rewrite branch finally got merged! You should be able to test it in the next nightly build. Keep in mind that the text tool by itself has not changed just yet. Similarly, if you find bugs, please report them to bugs.kde.org under the product Krita, in the component Text. The Nightly builds are available here:

• Stable “Krita Plus” (5.2.2+): Linux - Windows - macOS [not yet] - Android (arm64-v8a / arm32-v7a / x86_64)
• Unstable “Krita Next” (5.3.0-prealpha): Linux - Windows - macOS [unsigned currently] - Android (arm64-v8a / arm32-v7a / x86_64 )

By force of old habit, I use GIMP for curved text and Inkscape probably can do it.
