Hi all awesome artists. Could you tell me is there a way of doing curved text? I’ve had a look on you tube but couldn’t find what I wanted. Thanks

Hi @Artybyme, At the moment, @wolthera is doing lots of work for improving and extending the text capabilities and I believe that curved text is one of those additions that will be available one day.

The Nightly builds are available here:

• Stable “Krita Plus” (5.2.2+): Linux - Windows - macOS [not yet] - Android (arm64-v8a / arm32-v7a / x86_64)
• Unstable “Krita Next” (5.3.0-prealpha): Linux - Windows - macOS [unsigned currently] - Android (arm64-v8a / arm32-v7a / x86_64 )

By force of old habit, I use GIMP for curved text and Inkscape probably can do it.

What I wish krita was able to do… Because, using another software for it and coming back to Krita again, would be more of a hassle. [Photoshop Tutorial : Creating an Arcane Circle Brush] An alternative of course is to have an arcane art brush set ready in Krita.
